The hub will focus on creating world-class tooling for foundation models, collaborating closely with Microsoft’s global AI teams and partners like OpenAI.

The new hub will be led by Jordan Hoffmann, an AI scientist and engineer who previously distinguished himself at Inflection and DeepMind. Hoffmann will be joined by a talented group of Microsoft AI team members based in the London Paddington office.
