Zoom Cares Pledges $10 Million to Expand AI Education Access

San Jose, California — September 17, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Zoom Cares (NASDAQ: ZM) has committed $10 million over three years to broaden access to AI education and opportunities. The funding was revealed at Zoomtopia 2025 and will be allocated through anchor grants to national and global AI leaders, alongside regional and community grants for local change agents.

A $5 million investment will focus on K–12 AI education, ensuring students gain basic AI knowledge and have clear paths to success in the digital economy.

Kimberly Storin, chief marketing officer at Zoom, stated that AI should be a tool for everyone, not just a privilege. She said that Zoom’s commitment aims to unlock potential in classrooms, communities, and workplaces.

Initial grant recipients include Code.org and data.org, which empower learners, workers, and non-profits with AI skills.

Perry Hewitt, Chief Strategy Officer at data.org, noted that Zoom Cares’ support will enable data.org to host its fifth global challenge, identifying and investing in innovative AI solutions for economic opportunity. Hadi Partovi, Founder/CEO at Code.org, said the funding will help expand access to their free AI curriculum.

Launched in 2020, Zoom Cares has contributed over $66 million to communities worldwide. This investment focuses on AI education and inclusivity.
