VANCOUVER, BC — February 19, 2026 — Leads & Copy — WELL Health Technologies Corp. and HEALWELL AI Inc. have jointly announced the launch of WELLTRUST™, a platform designed for secure, consent-driven patient identification for clinical research within WELL-operated clinics in Canada.
The WELLTRUST platform aims to accelerate clinical research recruitment by enabling patients to consent to future outreach regarding clinical trials and research. It combines WELL’s clinical network with HEALWELL’s AI capabilities to create a scalable, privacy-preserving infrastructure.
Patients who are not interested in participating in WELLTRUST can decline and continue receiving care at WELL clinics.
Dr. Alexander Dobranowski, President of HEALWELL AI, stated that WELLTRUST integrates HEALWELL’s data and AI capabilities into WELL’s clinical environment, creating an AI-powered patient identification and research platform.
The platform features a secure, patient-first consent framework, allowing patients to consent to the use of their personal health information for specific purposes, including contact about clinical trials and participation in information review studies. Future participation will remain voluntary and compliant with privacy laws.
The first commercial application of WELLTRUST uses HEALWELL’s DARWEN™ AI platform to identify and engage patients with chronic or complex conditions who have consented to be contacted about clinical trial opportunities. The platform also aims to meet Canadian privacy and regulatory standards, enabling partnerships with pharmaceutical sponsors, research organizations, and clinical trial networks.
WELLTRUST is designed to support additional use cases such as real-world evidence generation and enhanced clinical decision support tools.
