PLEASANTON, Calif. — October 14, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Veeva Systems (NYSE: VEEV) announced plans to release Veeva AI Agents starting in December 2025 for commercial applications, with expansion across R&D and quality in 2026. Veeva AI will bring agentic AI to the Veeva Vault Platform, offering industry-specific agents for areas like clinical, regulatory, safety, quality, medical, and commercial sectors.
These AI Agents are designed for high-impact use cases, with the capacity to understand the Veeva application context, use application-specific prompts and safeguards, and securely access Veeva application data, documents, and workflows. The Veeva Vault Platform integration allows customers to configure and extend Veeva-delivered AI Agents and create custom agents.
The planned availability of Veeva AI Agents includes Vault CRM and PromoMats in December 2025, Safety and Quality in April 2026, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and Medical in August 2026, and Clinical Data in December 2026.
Veeva AI Agents will use large language models (LLMs) from Anthropic and Amazon, hosted on Amazon Bedrock. Custom agents can use Veeva-hosted models or customer-provided models hosted on Amazon Bedrock or Microsoft Azure AI Foundry. The usage-based pricing model is designed to facilitate customer adoption and scalability.
