**November 4, 2025 —** Snowflake and SAP SE have announced a collaboration to allow organizations to use Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud and SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) with semantically rich data, making Snowflake’s data and AI platform available as a SAP solution extension for SAP BDC customers. The SAP Snowflake solution extension allows SAP’s expertise in business processes and data to combine with Snowflake’s platform capabilities for building AI and machine learning solutions. It will also enable zero copy sharing between SAP BDC and Snowflake, and is planned to be available in Q1 2026, with SAP BDC Connect for Snowflake planned to be available in H1 2026.
According to Christian Kleinerman, EVP of Product, Snowflake, integrating SAP and Snowflake makes it simple for enterprises to connect their critical business data with its context in SAP with the power of seamless AI app and data agent development at scale in Snowflake. Irfan Khan, President and Chief Product Officer for SAP Data and Analytics, SAP SE, said the collaboration empowers their customers with openness and choice.
With SAP Snowflake, customers can build a trusted, AI-ready data foundation to harmonize SAP and non-SAP data, accelerate AI business value with semantically rich data, and develop intelligent applications grounded in mission-critical business data.
