November 4, 2025 — Sidus Space (NASDAQ: SIDU) has completed the design phase for its FeatherEdge™ 248Vi edge computer, the next evolution in the company’s Orlaith™ AI Ecosystem, designed to support spaceborne, aerial, and autonomous missions. The new 248Vi builds on the on-orbit performance of FeatherEdge™ 100i and is engineered to deliver unmatched compute power and ruggedized reliability for critical operations across domains.
Key features of the FeatherEdge™ 248Vi include 248 TOPS of AI performance, 64 GB LPDDR5 ECC RAM and 680 GB pSLC NVMe SSD for high-speed data processing and storage, a SOSA®/ MOSA®-aligned 3U VPX design for seamless integration, expanded I/O connectivity, ruggedization for extreme environments, and a radiation-tolerant architecture supporting LEO and GEO missions.
