Relativity Launches Rel Labs to Accelerate AI-Powered Legal Technology Innovation

As part of Rel Labs, Relativity will support legal technology companies at various stages, prioritizing those that help customers and partners tackle challenges in legal data intelligence by extending RelativityOne’s platform, workflows, and AI capabilities. The company plans to invest over $170 million in research and development in 2025 and foster a robust ecosystem, backing innovations that shape the industry.

Relativity will collaborate with TLTF to support promising legal technology startups, providing strategic guidance, industry expertise, and access to its global network. Zach Posner, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of The LegalTech Fund, noted that the partnership combines capital and company-building expertise with Relativity’s market reach to help the next generation of entrepreneurs scale faster and deliver real value.

Relativity is also advancing its Developer Program with a new structure launching in 2026, offering differentiated benefits, clearer growth pathways, and elevated developer partners. The program features three categories: Innovators, System Integrators, and Strategic Partners. The company’s community will be highlighted at Relativity Fest, Oct. 7-9, featuring a dedicated Developer Track and sessions with TLTF.
