RapidFire AI Unveils Open-Source RAG Framework at Ray Summit 2025

SAN FRANCISCO, November 4, 2025 — Leads & Copy — RapidFire AI has introduced RapidFire AI RAG, an open-source extension enhancing AI experimentation and customization. Announced at Ray Summit 2025, this framework brings dynamic control and real-time comparison to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and context engineering workflows.

Agentic RAG pipelines, central to enterprise AI, combine data retrieval with LLM reasoning. However, teams often test these sequentially, leading to slow iteration and expensive token usage.

Kirk Borne, Founder of Data Leadership Group, emphasized the importance of systematic experimentation for understanding retrieval and prompt design. Arun Kumar, CTO at RapidFire AI, noted that RapidFire AI RAG brings empirical rigor to RAG and context engineering pipelines.

RapidFire AI RAG allows users to launch and monitor multiple variations simultaneously, even on a single machine. Users can see live performance metrics, stop runs mid-flight, and inject new variations without rebuilding pipelines. Madison May, CTO of Indico Data, noted that RapidFire AI allows teams to test assumptions quickly.

RapidFire AI RAG introduces dynamic experiment control and supports AutoML algorithms for optimization.

Unlike closed-system RAG builders, RapidFire AI RAG supports hybrid pipelines, allowing users to mix self-hosted models and closed model APIs. Jack Norris, CEO of RapidFire AI, emphasized that organizations can now measure and optimize their data pipelines.

RapidFire AI RAG is available now and installable via pip install rapidfireai.
