September 10, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Q4 Inc., a provider of AI-driven IR Ops software, has announced a strategic leadership evolution. The changes aim to strengthen execution and extend its position as the category leader in investor relations operations (IR Ops).
Lewis Black, a technology executive with experience in software, communications, and finance, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Founder Darrell Heaps will transition into the role of Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer, focusing on corporate strategy, product innovation, strategic partnerships, and M&A.
Heaps said this evolution represents the next step in Q4’s growth journey, allowing him to dedicate his energy to AI innovation, strategy, and partnerships. Black said he is honored to build on the foundation created by Heaps and the Q4 team and will focus on disciplined execution and enhancing operational capabilities.
Q4 continues to lead through innovation and industry recognition, including the launch of Q, the first IRO Agent™, achieving growth in bookings and AI platform annual recurring revenue (ARR), and winning awards for its products and customer service.
