San Francisco, CA — September 18, 2025 — Leads & Copy — PublicAI and Abaka AI have partnered to launch Project EVA, a global AI evaluation challenge organized by the 2077AI Open Source Foundation. The $10.24 million initiative aims to unite leading AI organizations to identify blind spots in current AI systems and develop the essential human layer needed to advance Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
Project EVA challenges participants to design novel challenges that expose the failure modes, blind spots, and reasoning limits of AI models.
PublicAI will contribute its decentralized data infrastructure, powered by over 3 million contributors across more than 200 countries, to provide human-verified data. Abaka AI will provide technical infrastructure and expertise. RemoExperts is providing the official registration and talent hub.
PublicAI’s global contributor base will complement 2077AI’s datasets, grounding them in cultural nuance. PublicAI will also help source “hard questions” from real users to sharpen benchmarks and extend 2077AI’s vision of a sustainable, human-centered innovation cycle.
