Chicago, IL — December 2, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Otus, a K-12 platform for student assessment, data, and insights, has acquired MindPrint Learning, a company known for its work in helping educators understand and cater to individual student learning needs. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Tucker Capital advised MindPrint Learning on the acquisition, which builds on a multiyear partnership between the two companies. The goal of the acquisition is to enhance Otus’ mission to offer educators a comprehensive, unified understanding of each student.
With the acquisition, Otus plans to offer bundled or add-on pricing, integrating MindPrint’s insights into Otus student profiles. MindPrint’s approach, developed with neuroscientists from the University of Pennsylvania’s Brain Behavior Lab, measures student learning strengths. These measurements, combined with academic, behavioral, and attendance data from Otus, will help educators differentiate instruction and support personalized and collaborative learning.
Otus Co-Founder and President Chris Hull said that MindPrint helps the company offer insights into how students learn, not just what they have learned.
MindPrint identifies how students process information, manage tasks, and engage with learning, while also providing teaching strategies to leverage learners’ skills and address challenges. These strategies are based on educational research and are designed for use in various classroom settings.
Nancy Weinstein, Founder of MindPrint Learning and now Chief Innovation Officer of Otus, said that Otus is the ideal home for MindPrint because both companies share a belief that great teaching starts with understanding each learner.
The acquisition is expected to solidify Otus’ position as a K-12 data solution, providing a student profile for educators to understand performance, monitor progress, and offer differentiated instruction. Otus also plans to use AI to deliver insights from MindPrint data and recommend resources.
