San Francisco, California — October 22, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Newton, an AI-powered dental workflow automation platform, has announced $3.8 million in seed funding from investors including Y Combinator, Twenty Two Ventures, The Transpose Platform, Phosphor Capital, David Parker, and Bo Jiang (CEO of Lithic), among other angel investors.
Newton’s AI Dental Agents are designed to help Dental Support Organizations (DSOs) and private practices schedule appointments, boost staff productivity, and increase production. The platform combines inbound and outbound voice AI for scheduling, AI-powered analytics for executive visibility, revenue cycle tools, and reputation management into one seamless system.
Newton was founded by Rohit Chaparala, CEO, and Sam Detjen, CTO, along with Amsal Naseem, Founding Engineer; Cole Shaffer, Founding Operations Lead; Joe Olive, Founding Account Executive; and Rhea Phatak Nawaz, Product Designer.
