Vanguard Mining Completes Q4 Drill Program at Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project
Vancouver, BC — January 9, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Vanguard Mining Corp. has completed its Q4 drill program at its Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project in British Columbia, according to a press release.
The program reached a total depth of 511 meters. Paradigm Drilling Ltd. carried out the drilling, using a Boyles T-75 hydraulic, track-mounted diamond drill capable of testing targets beyond 600 meters. The Redonda Project is 100% owned by Vanguard.
David Greenway, CEO of Vanguard Mining Corp., stated that the 2025 drill program aimed to test targets beyond previous drilling limits and enhance the geological understanding of Redonda. Core samples have been logged and submitted for analysis.
The company is awaiting assay results to determine the presence, extent, and continuity of mineralization. Greenway cautioned that visual observations of alteration and sulphide mineralization should not be considered indicative of mineralization grades or economic significance without lab results.
The drill program was guided by targets and structural corridors interpreted from an airborne geophysical survey by Precision GeoSurveys, Inc., combined with historical drilling data and surface sampling.
Historical drilling by Teck Resources Ltd. in 1979 included nine NQ-diameter diamond drill holes totaling 1,681 meters. Follow-up drilling in 2023 consisted of five drill holes totaling 799.81 meters, encountering copper-molybdenum mineralization.
Vanguard Mining is working with the Klahoose First Nation, prioritizing local labor, training, and Klahoose-affiliated service providers. The company plans ongoing engagement, incorporating feedback into field operations, and adhering to cultural heritage protocols and environmental practices within Klahoose Traditional Territory.
The Redonda Project consists of nine mineral claims totaling 2,746.46 ha, located approximately 40 km northeast of Campbell River, British Columbia. Access to the property is year-round via barge service and an upgraded logging road.
J. T. Shearer, M.Sc., D.I.C., P.Geo., a consulting geologist and a “Qualified Person” under National Instrument 43-101, reviewed and approved the technical information in the release.
Vanguard Mining Corp. focuses on discovering and developing high-value strategic minerals, advancing exploration projects in Argentina, Canada, and Paraguay, with a focus on assets critical to the global energy transition.
