RéSolve Energie Appoints Carmin Hamel to Board of Directors

Montréal, Québec — November 27, 2025 — Leads & Copy — RéSolve Energie Inc. (CSE: RESO) has appointed Carmin Hamel to its board of directors, the company announced today.

Hamel, a respected leader in Quebec’s forestry sector, is also an original investor in RéSolve Energie. As president of Scierie Clermond Hamel, a family business founded in 1891, Hamel brings extensive experience in sawmill operations, biomass supply chains, and the provincial regulatory framework.

Ian C. Peres, president and CEO of RéSolve Energie, stated that Hamel’s understanding of sawmill operations and the regulatory environment represents a major strategic asset for the company. Peres also noted that Hamel’s experience with large-scale equipment operations will be instrumental in commercializing the company’s biorefinery technology and advancing its mission to build a stronger, greener energy future for Quebec.

Since 1982, Hamel has served as president of Scierie Clermond Hamel, a family business founded in Saint-Éphrem-de-Beauce. Under his leadership, the company has experienced significant growth, including a recent $30 million investment in development and optimization. His group now employs hundreds of workers across three major wood processing companies: Scierie Clermond Hamel, Scierie Busque & Laflamme, and Bois Hamel.

Hamel also holds more than 40% of the shares in two forest product commercialization companies: Bois Dorval and Bois Indifor. In addition to his business ventures, Hamel serves on the boards of key industry organizations such as the Association des Producteurs de Copeaux du Québec (APCQ) and the Conseil de l’Industrie du Sciage du Québec (CISQ).

In other news, Maxime Lemieux has resigned from the board of directors, effective immediately. The board expressed gratitude for Lemieux’s contributions over the years.

RéSolve Energie focuses on developing and commercializing advanced biofuels and renewable energy technologies, in addition to exploring natural hydrogen resources. The company has designed a proprietary acid hydrolysis platform capable of converting residual biomass into three renewable energy products: second-generation ethanol, industrial-grade lignin pellets, and electricity produced via an integrated biomass cogeneration unit. RéSolve Energie also holds a patent-pending portfolio of intellectual property for detecting and extracting natural hydrogen, as well as 119 mining claims covering 6,613 hectares in Quebec.
