Critical Reagent Processing Announces Private Placement
Vancouver, British Columbia — January 9, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Critical Reagent Processing Corp. (CSE: CRPC) (OTC: GRXXF) (Frankfurt: G0A) has announced a non-brokered private placement to raise up to $236,250.
The company intends to issue up to 3,500,000 common shares at a price of $0.0675 per share, according to a news release.
The private placement is still subject to approval from the Canadian Securities Exchange. Any securities issued will be subject to statutory hold periods, expiring four months after the closing date of the private placement.
Critical Reagent Processing Corp. plans to use the net proceeds from the private placement for general working capital purposes.
Critical Reagent Processing Corp. (CRPC) previously completed its purchase option agreement to acquire up to 100% interest in the Mina Laguna Santa Maria project.
The project consists of two mining concessions licensed for sodium carbonate production, also known as “Soda Ash.” The company now holds 100% of No 17.643 Ignacio VI and 86% of No 1.255 Santa Maria, according to the release. Documentation has been filed to obtain the remaining 14% of No. 1.255 Santa Maria, located in Salta Province, Argentina.
The 500-hectare property contains a natural deposit of sodium carbonate, a necessary reagent for lithium carbonate production. The U.S. Geological Survey reported that in 2022, 165,000 tonnes of soda ash, valued at $US 48 million, were exported from the United States to Argentina.
CRPC believes the Laguna Santa Maria Project has a competitive advantage over soda ash importation into Argentina because it is located in the country and in an area of significant lithium carbonate production and project development. Management is continuing to evaluate the property and market for soda ash in Argentina. Results of a bulk sample chemical evaluation are expected soon.
