Jacksonville, Florida — November 20, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Cadre Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CDRE) subsidiary Med-Eng, LLC has secured a 5-year Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract, valued at up to $50 million, from the United States Department of War (DoW) for its Blast Exposure Monitoring (BEMO) Program.
The BEMO systems, which include sensor hardware and software, are designed to measure and record blast overpressure exposures during training operations. This initiative is part of the DoW’s Brain Health program.
Cadre President Brad Williams stated the company is honored to provide this sensor technology solution, which will enhance the U.S. military’s ability to monitor and evaluate blast overpressure exposure events warfighters experience during training.
Williams added that this project exemplifies the company’s ability to apply electronics and software engineering to transform raw data into user-friendly solutions.
The contract award is a testament to Med-Eng’s ability to develop systems that aid in threat mitigation, support operational requirements, and ensure user safety, Williams said, thanking team members for their dedication to excellence.
Initial deliveries under the contract are scheduled to begin in 2026, following a competitive 5-year funded development program focused on improving methods for identifying blast overpressure exposures impacting warfighters using heavy weapon systems and conducting explosive breaching in combat and training.
Once deployed, the BEMO systems will provide real-time updates for team leaders, commanders, and medical personnel, enabling rapid triage decisions and dynamic adjustments to tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
Med-Eng has been developing body-worn blast sensors since 2006. This latest generation represents a convergence of hardware, mobile device apps, and intuitive dashboards to monitor brain health monitoring.
The BEMO system will provide decision-making tools based on tracking single event and cumulative blast overpressure exposure.
