Klaviyo (NYSE: KVYO) has appointed Chano Fernández as co-CEO, effective January 1, 2026. Fernández will work alongside Co-Founder and co-CEO Andrew Bialecki to guide the company’s future growth.
Bialecki will concentrate on driving Klaviyo’s AI vision and developing AI-first products. Fernández will oversee go-to-market strategies, operations, and general & administrative functions.
Bialecki stated that AI is unlocking possibilities for B2C businesses, and this technological shift requires strengthening the team. Fernández’s experience in leading global organizations and his familiarity with Klaviyo make him a valuable asset. Bialecki will focus on AI-first products, while Fernández will drive GTM and global operations.
Fernández has a history of scaling global enterprise businesses and leading organizations through major changes. He held leadership positions at SAP and served as co-CEO of Workday, where he expanded the company’s global and enterprise footprint. Most recently, he was co-CEO of Eightfold, an AI platform. Fernández has been a member of Klaviyo’s Board for two years and recently served as Interim Executive Officer.
Fernández expressed his excitement about joining Klaviyo as co-CEO, emphasizing the pivotal moment for the industry with AI reshaping brand-consumer relationships. He aims to advance Klaviyo’s market leadership and help customers harness AI for business impact. He looks forward to partnering with Bialecki and the leadership team.
