Montreal, QC — December 18, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Jesta I.S. has launched FarsightIQ, an AI-focused division offering an advanced AI-driven commerce platform for retailers. According to the company, the platform combines machine learning and agentic AI to help retailers predict and act on future trends.
FarsightIQ combines advanced machine learning, including deep-learning ensemble models, with agentic AI to recommend and execute actions. The system transforms data into foresight, enabling real-time decisions and automation across retail operations.
Arvind Gupta, President of Jesta I.S., said that the rapid evolution of AI presented an opportunity to evolve the company’s offerings and create a dedicated AI center of excellence. He added that FarsightIQ blends domain knowledge with AI to help clients navigate the retail future. According to Gupta, the AI solutions are trained on each customer’s enterprise data flowing through Jesta’s Vision Suite and hosted in Jesta’s private cloud. He also noted that AI and ML models incorporate external signals such as market trends, weather, and local events to deliver localized, multidimensional demand forecasts.
The company says that FarsightIQ addresses the challenge of transforming insights into action. The division was created due to market demand for AI-powered decision-making and the success of recent AI pilots.
FarsightIQ’s ML models analyze historical and real-time retail data to uncover patterns and predict outcomes such as demand shifts, inventory risks, and operational anomalies. The agentic AI layer can recommend actions with “Human in the Loop” capabilities.
For example, FarsightIQ can identify upcoming stockouts and enable buying and inventory management teams to execute replenishment or transfer. Agents can detect invoice discrepancies and reconciliation steps, while others attribute new products through images for use throughout commerce channels, reporting, and analytics. The models continuously learn and adapt as new data flows in.
FarsightIQ launches with a modular suite of AI capabilities spanning strategy, merchandising, supply chain, and finance. Retailers can deploy modules individually or as a fully integrated platform.
The modules include:
- forecastIQ: A demand forecasting engine using deep-learning ensemble models.
- replenishIQ: An auto-replenishment engine that uses forecastIQ’s output.
- optimizeIQ: Delivers network-wide inventory optimization.
- advisorIQ (Ask Jane): An AI-powered strategic advisor that allows users to query their business in natural language.
- styleIQ: A computer vision module that identifies and tags product image attributes.
- matchIQ: An AI-driven invoice matching solution that automates three-way matching between invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
Additional modules include intelligent replenishment, inventory optimization, and AI-assisted assortment planning capabilities. Each module integrates into existing workflows and shares a data foundation.
Gupta added that FarsightIQ is designed to empower all retail and wholesale brands, regardless of their current technology stack and ensures integration with any existing solutions. It supports a pipeline to training data process flow to ensure cleansed and augmented data is used for training. For existing Jesta suite clients, FarsightIQ can deliver value when layered onto Jesta’s unified commerce platform.
Insights generated by FarsightIQ flow into execution systems, enabling a closed-loop process. Merchandising, stores, e-commerce, supply chain, and finance operate from a shared intelligence layer.
Early adopters of FarsightIQ have seen improved forecast accuracy, leaner inventory positions, faster financial close cycles, and margin gains.
Jesta plans to expand FarsightIQ with additional ML and generative AI capabilities, deeper automation, and new computer vision use cases.
Jesta I.S. has been providing unified commerce solutions for retailers, wholesalers, e-tailers, and brand manufacturers for over 55 years. Jesta’s Vision Suite spans merchandising, supply chain, store operations, omnichannel order management, and financials.
