Intuitive (NASDAQ:ISRG) Announces Preliminary Q4 and Full Year 2025 Financial Results

SUNNYVALE, Calif. — January 14, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Intuitive (Nasdaq: ISRG) announced preliminary unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2025.

The announcement was made ahead of the company’s presentation at the 44th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference.

The company reported fourth-quarter revenue of approximately $2.87 billion, a 19% increase compared to $2.41 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024. Full-year revenue for 2025 is expected to be approximately $10.06 billion, a 21% increase compared to $8.35 billion in 2024.

Worldwide procedures, combining da Vinci and Ion, grew approximately 18% in the fourth quarter and 19% for the full year. Da Vinci procedures increased by about 17% in the fourth quarter and 18% for the year, while Ion procedures grew by roughly 44% and 51%, respectively.

Intuitive expects worldwide da Vinci procedures to increase approximately 13% to 15% in 2026 compared to 2025.

In the fourth quarter, Intuitive placed 532 da Vinci surgical systems, including 303 da Vinci 5 systems, compared to 493 systems, including 174 da Vinci 5 systems, in the fourth quarter of 2024. The company also placed 42 Ion endoluminal systems, down from 69 in the same period last year.

For the full year, Intuitive placed 1,721 da Vinci surgical systems, including 870 da Vinci 5 systems, compared to 1,526 systems, including 362 da Vinci 5 systems, in 2024. The company placed 195 Ion endoluminal systems, compared to 271 in 2024.

Preliminary fourth-quarter instruments and accessories revenue increased by 17% to approximately $1.66 billion, driven by an 18% growth in worldwide procedure volume. Full-year revenue for this category increased by 19% to approximately $6.02 billion.

Da Vinci procedures increased by approximately 17% in the fourth quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. Approximately 3,153,000 surgical procedures were performed with da Vinci surgical systems in 2025, an increase of approximately 18% compared to 2,683,000 in 2024. The growth was largely attributable to an 18% increase in U.S. general surgery procedures and a 23% increase in total da Vinci procedures performed outside of the U.S.

Preliminary fourth-quarter systems revenue was approximately $786 million, compared to $655 million in the fourth quarter of 2024. Full-year systems revenue was approximately $2.47 billion, compared to $1.97 billion for 2024.

According to Intuitive CEO Dave Rosa, the company is pleased with its strong performance and remains focused on improving patient care and outcomes.

Intuitive is scheduled to report its fourth-quarter 2025 results during a conference call on January 22, 2026.
