NEW YORK, NY — February 26, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Guardforce AI Co., Limited (NASDAQ: GFAI, GFAIW) has extended its partnership to provide smart retail business solutions to the Thailand branch of a global sportswear brand.
Guardforce AI will act as a technology partner in the client’s national renovation plan. The company has received an initial request to deploy smart retail solutions at five additional retail locations in 2026, with another installation slated for 2027.
Guardforce AI previously deployed similar solutions at two of the brand’s locations and installed AI camera systems across 13 additional stores in 2025, following a proof of concept completed in mid-2025.
The smart retail solution integrates AI-driven CCTV surveillance analytics and RFID-based inventory systems. It helps retailers manage people, goods, and spaces with enhanced operational efficiency.
Guardforce AI’s solution aims to enhance store security, reduce theft, decrease inventory inaccuracies, reduce manual labor time, optimize store layout, correlate foot traffic with sales, and provide performance metrics across locations.
Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer Lei (Olivia) Wang said Guardforce AI is dedicated to providing services to its clients. Wang added that the partnership extension demonstrates the company’s ability to market AI-driven smart solutions to retail brands.
Wang believes that these smart solutions can be deployed across many of the 5,000 retail stores served via its legacy secured logistics business. Wang said that the expansion could generate revenue and drive growth compared to 2025, and that she anticipates future announcements on the company’s smart retail solutions.
