November 14, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Media representatives wishing to cover the G7 Industry, Digital and Technology Ministers’ Meeting in Montréal, Quebec, on December 8 and 9, 2025, must obtain media accreditation.
The meeting will be co-hosted by the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions, and the Honourable Evan Solomon, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
The media accreditation process is open to journalists from print, radio, television, news agencies, and online media who are on assignment with a legitimate media organization.
Individuals performing journalistic functions who do not work for a media organization and cannot provide a letter of assignment must provide proof of recent publications under their own byline that can be readily found in the public realm and under a legitimate media organization.
Government officials, representatives, and observers will not be accredited as media.
To apply, complete the form and upload all requested documentation. The registration code for media is $T8b$BtdaiDB. Applications that do not include all requested information will not be considered.
The application period closes on Monday, December 1, 2025. Accreditation does not guarantee access to all events.
