LONDON, September 16, 2025 — Leads & Copy — FARx, the world’s first AI fused-biometrics company, has secured a £250,000 seed investment, aided by the UK Government’s Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS). The Worcestershire-based company will use the investment to accelerate R&D and bring its technology to market, tackling AI-driven cyber-attacks targeting global commerce and critical infrastructure.
At the CyberUK conference, Cabinet Office Minister Pat McFadden warned of increased cyber-attack frequency and intensity due to AI. 35% of UK businesses reported AI-related fraud in Q1, up from 23% the previous year, with criminals using deepfakes and voice cloning. Starling Bank data showed 28% of UK adults were targeted by AI voice cloning scams in 2023.
FARx’s technology fuses speaker, speech, and face recognition, identifying not just what is said but who is speaking, detecting spoofing attempts. Powered by proprietary AI and Machine Learning, it continuously learns and adapts, detecting biometric shifts. It operates silently, continuously verifying identity and capturing data from suspected fraudsters.

Founded in 2022, FARx is embedded in comitFS’s CAS trading platform, used by over 50% of investment banks. Applications are available for finance, retail, healthcare, education, and gaming. In healthcare, it provides continuous identity authentication for patients and clinicians. In banking, it secures trading systems by analyzing voice and facial data. At call centers, it verifies employees and blocks bots.
