Coursera Appoints Anthony Salcito as General Manager, Enterprise

October 6, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Coursera, Inc. (NYSE: COUR) has appointed Anthony Salcito as General Manager, Enterprise, effective today. CEO Greg Hart cited Salcito’s global education experience and customer value track record. Salcito will scale innovations like Skills Tracks.

Salcito was previously Chief Institution Business Officer at Nerdy (Varsity Tutors). He spent over two decades at Microsoft as Vice President of Worldwide Education, leading global vision and pioneering programs. He has served on boards at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Western Governors University, and Teach.org, and is currently Board Co-Chair for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.

Salcito stated he is thrilled to join Coursera during a time of enterprise change, where workforce skills are crucial. He aims to help organizations upskill employees.

The appointment comes as Coursera invests in GenAI-powered learning and skills-based offerings, such as Skills Tracks, Role Play, and Course Builder. The company has recently announced new partnerships to expand content and accelerate workforce development.

Coursera, launched in 2012, is a global online learning platform with 183 million registered learners as of June 30, 2025. It partners with over 350 university and industry partners, offering a broad catalog of content and credentials. Coursera’s innovations enable personalized learning.
