October 8, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW) has appointed Ami Badani, chief marketing officer at Arm Holdings plc, to its Board of Directors, effective October 7, 2025.
Chairman, president, and chief executive officer Wendell P. Weeks stated that Ms. Badani’s expertise and knowledge will be valuable in Corning’s key growth initiatives for artificial intelligence and semiconductor packaging. He added that she will provide a unique perspective as the company continues to innovate to capture new market opportunities and drive long-term value creation.
Ms. Badani’s background in strategic marketing, portfolio expansion, and the scaling of transformative technologies aligns with Corning’s commitment to delivering innovations that serve and shape vital industries. Her term will last until Corning’s annual meeting of shareholders in the spring of 2026, when she will stand for election to a one-year term. With this appointment, the number of Corning directors increases to 10.
Ami Badani is known for her leadership in AI, semiconductors, go-to-market strategy, and business transformation. As Chief Marketing Officer of Arm, she leads global marketing efforts for a semiconductor and AI technology company, promoting innovation across mobile, data center, automotive, and other emerging sectors. From 2020 to 2023, Ms. Badani was Vice President of Products and Developer Marketing at NVIDIA. She has also worked at Cumulus Networks, Instart Logic, and Cisco Systems, and began her career in investment banking and asset management at Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan.
