PALO ALTO, CA — September 10, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Clockwork has introduced FleetIQ, a Software-Driven Fabric (SDF) designed to maximize GPU utilization, accelerate AI job performance, enhance infrastructure reliability, and reduce waste. This launch extends Clockwork’s cloud capabilities into the AI and GPU domain, adding stateful fault tolerance to prevent AI job crashes and slowdowns.
FleetIQ transforms idle silicon into productive intelligence, allowing enterprises, neoclouds, and hyperscalers to gain greater performance from existing GPUs. The company has also closed a new funding round led by NEA, with participation from Lip-Bu Tan, John Chambers, Carl Ledbetter, and e& Capital. Suresh Vasudevan has been appointed as CEO, and Joe Tarantino as Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
According to Clockwork, the bottleneck in AI is shifting from raw compute to communication between GPUs and across clusters. FleetIQ addresses this by providing microsecond-level visibility, fault tolerance, and real-time routing to eliminate contention.
Uber is already using Clockwork to expedite the detection and fault-localization of networking issues. Other organizations including DCAI, Nebius, Nscale, and White Fiber are also using Clockwork. Clockwork’s FleetIQ supports heterogeneous GPU environments and requires no proprietary hardware.
