CARLSBAD, Calif. — September 29, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Carlsmed, Inc. (Nasdaq: CARL) has appointed Jenifer Kamocsay as Chief Legal Officer and Secretary, effective immediately. Ms. Kamocsay will serve as legal counsel and oversee compliance and corporate governance.
Ms. Kamocsay brings over two decades of corporate legal experience in life science and technology, from Akoya Biosicences, Rubius Therapeutics, Inc., and Progress Software Corporation.
Carlsmed Chairman and CEO Mike Cordonnier said Ms. Kamocsay’s expertise in corporate governance, securities law, and legal strategy will be instrumental as the company scales its business and prepares for its cervical commercial launch.
Prior to Akoya, Ms. Kamocsay was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Rubius Therapeutics, Inc., and Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at Progress Software Corporation. She began her career at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
