December 8, 2025 — Leads & Copy — BigBear.ai has opened its first Middle East office at the World Trade Center Abu Dhabi as part of its long-term investment in the region, the company announced today.
Kevin McAleenan, President & CEO of BigBear.ai and former Acting U.S. Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), made the announcement at the Global AI Show, describing the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as a leader in applying advanced artificial intelligence in frictionless travel and trade.
BigBear.ai has established partnerships in the region with Vigilix and Easy Lease, both owned by International Holding Company, in recent months.
During his keynote address, McAleenan said that BigBear.ai intends to create job opportunities for top Emirati talent and build a diverse, high-performing workforce.
McAleenan stated that his experience at DHS has taught him that technological transformation provides momentum, and follow-through delivers a strategic advantage.
