November 20, 2025 — Leads & Copy — BigBear.ai (NYSE: BBAI) has entered a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pahang Aerospace City Development Berhad (PAC), Easy Lease, and Vigilix Technology Investment LLC to expedite the integration of advanced technologies at the Pahang Aerospace City.
The agreement was formalized at the Dubai Air Show.
Pahang Aerospace City is envisioned as a national transit hub supporting air, land, and sea passenger travel for the Pahang State Government. The project aims to attract domestic and foreign investment, reinforcing Malaysia’s aerospace and support sectors and establishing the region’s first international spaceport. BigBear.ai and its partners will concentrate on AI-driven border operations to bolster regional and international security.
BigBear.ai CEO Kevin McAleenan said the company is honored to collaborate with PAC, Easy Lease, and Vigilix to develop an AI-powered aerospace and security ecosystem, setting a regional benchmark. He added that integrating mission-ready AI, predictive analytics, and secure orchestration technologies would help Malaysia establish a unique aviation, transit, and space ecosystem, enhancing national economic growth and regional security.
Robert Wedertz, Senior Vice President of Growth, represented BigBear.ai at the signing ceremony in the UAE. The collaboration will focus on driving innovation, security, and operational efficiency within the Aerospace City ecosystem.
PAC CEO Prof. Adjunct M. Nurazmi Abas noted that the Pahang Aerospace City is shaping Malaysia’s future as a hub where aerospace, space, digital mobility, and predictive AI converge. He emphasized that the alliance would create a global innovation corridor connecting Pahang, the UAE, and the United States, expressing anticipation for a long-term collaboration with BigBear.ai, Easy Lease, and Vigilix.
Vigilix CEO Mohammed Bin Jumah stated that the partnership would accelerate the implementation of transformational technologies in Malaysia’s aerospace and smart city sectors.
Easy Lease Vice Chairman Saeed Al Qassimi added that their fleet optimization and smart mobility systems would support PAC as a next-generation international gateway.
