TEMPE, Ariz. — December 10, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Amtech Systems, Inc. reported its fourth-quarter results for the period ending September 30, 2025, showcasing stronger-than-expected performance driven by AI applications.
Key highlights from the fourth quarter include:
Net revenue reached $19.8 million.
The company holds $17.9 million in cash reserves.
Cash flow from operations totaled $2.3 million.
GAAP net income stood at $1.1 million.
Non-GAAP net income amounted to $1.4 million.
Adjusted EBITDA was $2.6 million.
Customer orders totaled $18.5 million.
The order backlog reached $19.9 million.
CEO of Amtech, Bob Daigle, stated that the company’s fourth-quarter results were driven by AI applications. Advanced Packaging and assembly equipment for AI infrastructure accounted for over 30% of the company’s Thermal Processing Solutions (TPS) segment revenue, an increase from 25% in the previous quarter. Daigle also noted that higher-than-expected revenue in both TPS and Semiconductor Fabrication Solutions segments, combined with improvements in the cost structure, led to adjusted EBITDA margins exceeding 10% for the quarter. He also reported the eighth consecutive quarter of positive operating cash flow and the elimination of company debt last year.
GAAP gross profit was $8.8 million, with a gross margin of 44.4%. Non-GAAP gross profit also stood at $8.8 million, with a gross margin of 44.4%.
GAAP net income was $1.1 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, while non-GAAP net income was $1.4 million, or $0.10 per diluted share.
For the first fiscal quarter ending December 31, 2025, Amtech anticipates revenues between $18 and $20 million. Sales of AI-related equipment for the Thermal Processing Solutions segment are expected to partially offset continued softness in mature node semiconductor product lines. The company expects solid operating leverage, leading to adjusted EBITDA margins in the high single digits, due to previously implemented structural and operational cost reductions.
Amtech’s Board of Directors has authorized a share repurchase program, allowing the company to purchase up to $5 million of its common stock over one year, effective December 10, 2025.
