December 9, 2025 — Leads & Copy — ADYA Inc. has announced a strategic investment in Karrier One, a decentralized wireless infrastructure provider built on the Sui blockchain.
The investment aims to establish a foundational backbone for secure Internet connectivity across Canada, including the Arctic territories.
ADYA Inc., a Canadian telecom and technology holding company (TSX-V: ADYA; OTCQB: ADYIF), is backing Karrier One to advance Canadian sovereignty in the digital age by delivering secure, encrypted communications across all coasts.
Karrier One’s DePIN network is built on Sui, a Layer 1 blockchain and smart contract platform to ensure security and dependability.
Christian Thompson, Managing Director of the Sui Foundation, stated that Canada is stepping confidently into a future where infrastructure is a competitive advantage. Thompson added that Karrier One is setting a global precedent, and Sui is proud to provide the foundation.
Karrier One is integrating SCION, a next-generation Internet protocol developed by ETH Zurich, to guarantee path-aware, cryptographically secure routing and prevent hijacks, surveillance, and cross-border traffic leakage.
Samer Bishay, CEO of ADYA Inc. and Karrier One, said that by investing in SCION-backed infrastructure, Canada is ensuring that Arctic communities, Indigenous populations, and defense installations are connected and protected.
Karrier One’s infrastructure deployment is in partnership with Ericsson, bringing carrier-grade radio performance to the decentralized model. Nishant Grover, President, Ericsson Canada, said that the collaboration supports the deployment of secure and scalable telecom infrastructure and aligns with Ericsson’s vision of a world where connectivity improves lives and pioneers a sustainable future.
The project spans urban, rural, and remote areas using a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) model that rewards local participation and ensures compliance with spectrum regulation and national telecom policy.
Karrier One is also finalizing the rollout of an Over The Top (OTT) softphone app integrated with SCION, AI assistant, and decentralized wallet capabilities to bridge the gap between Web2 accessibility and Web3 functionality.
ADYA’s investment reflects a strategy to build real-world digital infrastructure that secures the unsecured, connects the unconnected, and banks the unbanked, especially in strategically vital and underserved regions. The rollout has already begun in Canada’s North, leveraging licensed spectrum held by Iristel and Ice Wireless to connect Arctic communities with carrier-grade connectivity for the first time.
