The integration expands 8×8’s enterprise voice capabilities, allowing businesses to modernize on their terms by combining Mitel hardware with the 8×8 platform.
According to Victor Belfor, Global Vice President at 8×8, Inc., natively supporting Mitel phones gives customers access to the 8×8 platform’s AI power, global scale, and seamless customer and employee experience.
Customers with SIP-enabled Mitel handsets, including the 6900 Series, benefit from seamless experiences, lower upfront costs, accelerated deployments, trusted voice quality, and future-proofed innovation.
Mitel’s Steve Loebrich stated that by working with 8×8, customers are provided with the user-friendly experience they expect from Mitel phones.
Native support is available globally now for select device models. Current Mitel phone users in the US can also upgrade and purchase new phones for the latest features and improved performance.
Mitel also relocated its IP phone production to Germany to reinforce global supply chain stability.
