NEW YORK, NY — October 8, 2025 — Leads & Copy — SuRo Capital Corp. (Nasdaq: SSSS) provided a preliminary update on its investment portfolio for the third quarter ended September 30, 2025, anticipating a net asset value of $9.00 to $9.50 per share.
The company invested $5 million in HYPE via HL Digital Assets, Inc., with strong portfolio momentum driven by AI and AI Infrastructure investments. Mark Klein, Chairman and CEO of SuRo Capital, noted that the record second-quarter growth was driven by widespread recognition of the value generated by AI and AI Infrastructure companies and that this momentum has continued into the third quarter.
Earlier in October, OpenAI reportedly concluded a secondary share sale, valuing the company at $500 billion. SuRo Capital has maintained its investment in OpenAI Global, LLC through ARK Type One Deep Ventures Fund LLC at the previously confirmed $300 billion post-money valuation. In September, SuRo Capital invested $5 million into HL Digital Assets, Inc., a company investing in HYPE, the digital token of Hyperliquid, which is a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange.
As of September 30th, SuRo Capital has monetized less than 20% of its initial investment in CW Opportunity 2, LP, which is directly invested in the publicly traded shares of CoreWeave. SuRo Capital’s liquid assets were approximately $58.3 million as of September 30, 2025, consisting of cash and securities of publicly traded portfolio companies not subject to certain restrictions at quarter-end.
On July 3, 2025, SuRo Capital’s Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.25 per share paid on July 31, 2025 to the Company’s common stockholders of record as of the close of business on July 21, 2025. During the quarter ended September 30, 2025, SuRo Capital sold 1,230,984 shares under its at-the-market offering for gross aggregate proceeds of approximately $10.8 million.
