Positioning Universal and Syntiant Launch AI-Powered Telematics Tracker for Enhanced Vehicle Security

SAN DIEGO and IRVINE, Calif. — October 7, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Positioning Universal (PUI) and Syntiant Corp. have released an aftermarket telematics tracker with AI-powered sound sensing, designed to enhance vehicle security, monitoring, and operational insights. The PUI TM94 uses Syntiant’s NDP100 Neural Decision Processor™ and PUI’s acoustic sensors and software to enable vehicles to interpret and respond to their surroundings in real time with lower power consumption.

PUI’s sensors and software work with the NDP100 to differentiate between background noise and high-risk events like glass breakage, metal impact, and vehicle intrusion without cloud connectivity. According to Mark Wells, CEO of Positioning Universal, integrating AI sound sensing allows vehicles to detect events like collisions or unauthorized entry, providing smarter and faster intelligence. Mallik Moturi, chief business officer at Syntiant, stated that embedding sound sensing directly into the device eliminates cloud delays and delivers reliable alerts with fewer false alarms.

The AI-powered PUI TM94 is now available.
