October 6, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Piper Sandler Companies (NYSE: PIPR) has expanded its technology investment banking team with the addition of Eric Matthews and Keith Schellhorn as managing directors.
Matthews and Schellhorn, based in the Charlotte office, will concentrate on mergers & acquisition, corporate finance, and capital solutions within application software, artificial intelligence, and enterprise technology and data sectors. They previously held managing director positions at Jefferies and Wells Fargo Securities.
According to Brian White, co-head of technology investment banking at Piper Sandler, Matthews and Schellhorn are proven leaders with client relationships and execution track records whose expertise will strengthen the company’s ability to deliver advice and solutions to technology clients.
Steven Schmidt, also co-head of technology investment banking at Piper Sandler, added that the addition of the two bankers enhances the company’s technology investment banking franchise.
