(NYSE American: KULR), a Bitcoin+ Treasury company, has launched its next-generation KULR-developed Battery Management System (kBMS), designed for reliability, safety, and energy efficiency in mission-critical applications.
The kBMS is available in two versions: one for defense and terrestrial applications, and another for spacecraft power systems, which can be configured with commercial or radiation-tolerant components.
Peter Hughes, Vice President of Engineering at KULR, stated that the kBMS delivers reliability, safety, and efficiency for critical power systems, featuring analog architecture, radiation-tolerant integration, and redundant hardware.
Key features include analog architecture with rad-tolerant chipset integration, firmware and redundant hardware for safety, reduced power draw with lower-impedance MOSFETs, an isolated communication interface, and unique calibration capability.
The kBMS expands KULR’s offerings and is expected to accelerate adoption across Space, Defense, and other applications requiring uptime, safety, and system resilience. Availability for design-in and qualification programs begins immediately.
