September 30, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Accenture (NYSE: ACN) is set to acquire Aidemy Inc. (Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market: 5577) after completing a tender offer, the company said. The acquisition will integrate Aidemy into Accenture’s LearnVantage service, strengthening its ability to address skill gaps and train individuals in areas like generative AI.
The tender offer, which ran from August 15, 2025, to September 29, 2025, resulted in Accenture acquiring more than the minimum number of Aidemy’s shares and stock acquisition rights. Following the settlement, Aidemy will become a subsidiary of Accenture, with plans to purchase all remaining shares and delist Aidemy from the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Aidemy, founded in June 2014, offers AI and digital transformation (DX) support services, including talent development, consulting, and AI system development. Approximately 130 Aidemy professionals will join Accenture to support clients’ talent strategies and organizational transformation.
Accenture Japan CEO Atsushi Egawa emphasized the growing demand for enterprise reinvention using cutting-edge technologies, including generative AI. He highlighted the importance of talent development and redeployment in ensuring successful transformations.
Aidemy President Akihiko Ishikawa expressed confidence that joining Accenture will expand their expertise in talent development and AI system development. He noted the strengthened reskilling capabilities will accelerate companies’ adoption of AI and other advanced technologies.
Accenture’s acquisition of Aidemy aims to enhance competitiveness and sustainable growth for clients by maximizing the potential of their workforces. This move aligns with Accenture’s US$1 billion investment in LearnVantage, a service supporting talent strategies and reskilling for clients globally.
