Wepoint, a new North American AI leader: 1,500 experts by 2030 following the strategic merger with Logient nventive

Montreal, September 30, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Wepoint, a new player in AI and digital transformation, has entered the North American digital landscape. The company was formed from the merger of French international group Onepoint with Quebec-based Logient nventive.

This merger strengthens Onepoint’s presence in Montreal, where it has operated for two decades, and supports its broader North American ambitions. Wepoint aims to expand beyond Quebec, bringing together over 600 experts under an experienced governance team.

Wepoint offers organizational transformation services, focusing on generative AI, business process redefinition via AI agents, digital transformation, cybersecurity, data, and cloud platforms.

According to David Layani, founder and president of Onepoint, the merger supports the company’s internationalization strategy in a North American market estimated at $800 billion. Layani says the company is creating a hybrid model that combines consulting excellence, local expertise, and large-scale innovation capacity. Wepoint plans to increase its workforce in Quebec, Canada, and the United States, aiming for $250 million in revenue within five years with a team of 1,500 AI experts.

Ashish Kumar (formerly Microsoft, Avanade) and Patrick Nicolet (formerly Capgemini) have been appointed to the board of directors to support Wepoint’s North American growth.

Logient nventive generated $76.5 million in 2024 and has a client portfolio in banking, energy, financial services, and manufacturing. Vincent Godcharles notes that Wepoint offers integrated support to Quebec and Canadian organizations, from strategy to implementation and the company is creating a unique innovation lever for Quebec, Canada, and North America. The appointment of Geneviève Bertrand as COO is expected to accelerate growth.

Vincent Godcharles, CEO of Logient, will become President of Wepoint Canada, supported by Geneviève Bertrand, Patrick Mousseau, Pierre-Paul Melanson, and Éric Périon. Thomas Ciulla and Kishore Ramakrishnan will lead U.S. client development, with plans to add six partners in the United States by early 2026.
